I own 2 SleepBuddys! My 4 year old has been using his SleepBuddy for months now. He is an early riser (6-6:30), so the SleepBuddy keeps him playing quietly in his room until his light goes off at 7:30. When his light goes off, he does his chores and comes up for breakfast. My 22 month old has always been a HORRIBLE night sleeper. He was waking in the night at least once or twice a week. He would cry when we put him to bed. If we traveled, we could not have him in the same room with us or he would wake and scream until we put him in our bed. We were about to go to the beach for 2 weeks and I knew he was at least going to be in a closet in our room, but there was a chance he would be in our room. I ordered my 2nd SB the week before our beach trip. By the beach (6 days after purchase), he was going down for his nap and for bed without crying. Only once in a blue moon does he wake in the night. We show him his SB and remind him to stay quiet until it goes off. He is fully aware of his light and will say "off" and point to it. I was a skeptic for a while, which is why we didn't order it sooner. BUT I was so wrong! My 22 month old is/was fully capable of the understanding the concept! There is something about the blue light that works wonders! We are expecting our 4th child in the fall. We will put our boys together and I will use the SB as a nightlight with the baby. I will also introduce the SB a LOT sooner with the 4th. I love having the built in timers for both naps and nighttime. Shipping is super fast! AND... it come wrapped for the child so it's like they receive a gift :)
